EFG’s vision is that of a Europe with offices full of fun and efficiency and with furniture adaptable to each individual, to every task and ready to meet future demands. It was founded in 1885, when K.G. Andersson manufactured and sold his first rib-backed chair in Tranas. The business gradually expanded both with regards to assortment and size until 1972, when the next step forward was taken. When the company merged with two other companies the name was changed to NKR.
